From 1994 to 1996, I ran computers at the U.S. Department of Energy ETEC facility with these Key Results:

  • Substantially improved the operating efficiency of the computer network by upgrading hardware and software on a tight budget.
  • Increased the productivity of 70 scientists and engineers, providing daily computer support in person.

From 1990 to 1993, I contributed at Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne with these Key Results:

  • Saved costs and promoted mission safety by improving internal software tools in C/C++
  • Helped improve the accuracy and completeness of large-scale technical documents
    • Including Software Requirements Analysis and Functional Specifications (for Military Systems)
  • Increased the productivity of a team of scientists on a Classified computing laboratory.
    • Configured and ran Sun Solaris unix workstations and peripherals such as color printers.
    • Administered detailed security procedures to guard sensitive information.
